Md. Ahsanul Hoque Bashar is a seasoned professional and a Partner at BPRS Consulting, bringing over two decades of diverse experience in various sectors. He completed his Masters in Commerce from the esteemed Department of Marketing at Chittagong University in 1997, laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
Throughout his career journey, Md. Ahsanul Hoque Bashar has held pivotal roles in both national and global organizations, contributing significantly to their growth and success. He commenced his professional journey with renowned national brands such as Confidence Cement Limited, Chittagong Stock Exchange, The Daily Prothom Alo, and SMAC Subsidiaries, where he honed his skills in sales, marketing, and organizational management.
Transitioning to senior management positions in global brands, Md. Bashar brought his expertise to companies like DHL, Western Union, ACCA and LSC Group of Colleges, where he played instrumental roles in driving business strategies, fostering growth, and enhancing operational efficiencies. His notable achievements include being awarded the Best Salesperson Award during his tenure at DHL Express and receiving the Excellence in Service Award at Western Union for his outstanding contributions to the South Asia region.

Mr. Raihan is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BPRS Consulting, an Advisor and Consultant by profession and has been in the consulting industry for two decades. He was previously part of the leadership and management team of KPMG in Bangladesh; Rahman Rahman Huq, Chartered Accountants, served there for ten years and lead the Tax and Advisory practices. He also worked at Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL), the premier credit rating agency in Bangladesh. His professional skills build on working with leading advisory firms and corporate entities at varies capacities & leadership roles where he earned enormous industry expertise in Consumer Goods and Services (Food & Beverage, Personal Care, Home Care, Apparels & Textiles, Footwear & Leather, Healthcare & Hospitality etc.), Building Materials (Steel, Cement, Clay, Concrete, Paint, Chemical etc.), Construction & Infrastructure, Financial Services, Real estates, Energy, Natural Resources etc,
Being a passionate Trade, Commerce & Industry Analyst, Professional Accountant, Internal Auditor, Corporate Finance Specialist, Transfer Pricing and Value Chain Analyst, Tax Practitioner, Regulatory & Compliance Advisor, he has earned himself a position of deep trust and respect within the business, regulatory and professional communities. Mr. Raihan specializes in Business Models, Corporate Restructure, Merger & Acquisition, Due Diligence, Valuation, Investigations, Internal Audit, SOPs & Policies, Transfer Pricing, International Tax, Direct & Indirect Taxation – Planning, Compliance and Litigation Services. In Summary, Mr. Raihan is a Subject Matter Expert for Finance, Tax & Law.
Mr. Raihan has hands-on experience in consulting and advisory dealing with Multinationals (Subsidiary, Associate, Joint Venture, Branch, Liaison, Representative), Large Conglomerate and Group of Companies/Industries. He has attended seminars, workshops, and training sessions organized by various instructions and authorities from home and abroad. Exclusively, Mr. Raihan is one of the very few earliest Transfer Pricing Practitioners (TPP) in Bangladesh who managed more than hundred multinational clients providing advisory, planning and compliance services. His TPP expertise includes collaborating with the foreign Transfer Pricing specialists of KPMG, PwC & EY.
Besides his regular arena, currently he is engaged in developing Digital & Technology projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Block Chain, Robotics Process Automation and Large Enterprise Resources Planning. Mr. Raihan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Bangladesh and Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh; and Life Member of Taxes Bar Associations, JCI Bangladesh Foundation, RRH Associates, Chattogram Collegiates.
